Stick pieces of candy corn in the filling of the upright cookie for feathers and place the raisin in front of the body for the turkey’s head. This is especially cute if you use the colored Oreos that come out around Halloween time! Have your child make placemats that can decorate your Thanksgiving dinner table. All you need is a piece of construction paper or poster board cut into a rectangular shape and markers or crayons. Then can make the side view of a turkey by tracing their hand with fingers splayed. The thumb is the turkey’s head and the rest of the fingers being the feathers. Have them draw on a face, legs, and feet and then decorate as they want.
